We are having a bit of a glitch I see on DD. Photos not uploading.

I'm in such a habit of adding photos that I hardly know what to do!

I think I should change the name of this blog to 'Yetzirah Illustrated'. What do you think?

The details of our circumstances differ right now, but our overall situation is a shared one isn't it? This is a unique time.

Something occurred to me and I typed it out and posted it on my Instagram page yesterday:

"When this is over... and it will be over, we can all participate in the greatest group hug in the history of the world. Because for a time, we all experienced a shared consciousness. A rare and beautiful gift. Let's not squander it!"

Two things are happening. One is that for the first time ever, the WHOLE world is dealing with the same thing at the same time. AND we now have the internet to share our experiences with each other. That's freaking amazing on both counts. Don't get me wrong, I'm not happy about the virus. But I AM looking at the bigger picture. Trying to find the good in it. Because there's always something positive. It's my habit to search for it.

I will leave you with the phrase I've been using for quite some time with my family, long before this virus showed up....

"Everything is going to be all right."

(You clearly are one self deluded dill weed.)

Dude. I've read the end of the story. :-)

(Purported to be a) Chinese curse: "May you live in interesting times." And we sure do! We have internet and Facetime / Zoom / Google hangout so we can see our loved ones from a distance. At least we have that!

The universal saying that I've heard for many years is: And this, too, shall pass. And, yes, we are indeed fortunate to be experiencing this when technology is amazing. Even my 95+ year old Mom is finally learning how to answer a FaceTime call in just one or two attempts! Now that's resilience, folks :). And she beams while she watches her 2 year old great grandson pile up blocks, blow bubbles, and (today) just eat his lunch. It takes so little to please some people. We should all take a lesson from that. Perhaps this "shared consciousness" will bring our very divided country together a bit. Wouldn't that be loverly ;)

Good to know it's not just me that cant upload photos. Yes, interesting times. I think some good will come out of this, the planet will have a chance to revive, less smog and pollution for a time, people will appreciate our freedom more when we get it back and hopefully more respectful of others.
