Well, I am officially going to write 'an honest review' on Amazon about the assembly of this cabinet! I would love to see someone put this together in 30 minutes as some have claimed.
Here it is as of last night, when I decided I had just about enough of it:
Yeah, I had to attach ALL those drawer guides.
This morning, I fortified myself with a good breakfast and set to.
The first drawer took me 40 minutes to assemble. The directions were not exactly crystal clear, but I muddled through. The next drawer took ten minutes. I enlisted the use of my electric drill which helped out my hand, which by this time in the process was pretty tender.
Each time I finished one and put it in the cabinet I started doing a cheer.
I'm very happy with the end result though. It's a sturdy thing, and I got ALL my craft and watercolor supplies in it easily, with room to spare.
I'm pretty happy that I still have what it takes to tackle a project like this.
I think I'll have Butterbrickle Pecan ice cream in a waffle cone.
(In your dreams. The closest Baskin &Robbins is 75 miles away.)
Vanilla it is then.
With sprinkles.
