This is the state of the ice pond right now. This pond does not hold water well at all, so it's draining out underneath the ice and making for some interesting 'icescapes'.
We have had VERY cold temperatures. My landlord Mr. P told me today it was 8 degrees last night!
Treacherous.
And just to make things interesting, there's a storm coming in tonight. But there is no clear consensus just what this storm is going to DO.
All I know is I'm just trying to stay warm and keep food in the house in case I get snowed in again. I made a quick trip to town down the icy lane and back for a few necessities. Including more bird seed for the birds. It's slim pickins around here right now, poor little things.
Okay.
