Let Go Of Your Worries...
Thu Nov 04 2004

Let go of your worries and be completely clear-hearted,
like the face of a mirror that contains no images.
If you want a clear mirror, behold yourself
and see the shameless truth, which the mirror reflects.
If metal can be polished to a mirror-like finish,
what polishing might the mirror of the heart require?
Between the mirror and the heart is this single difference:
the heart conceals secrets, while the mirror does not...

Personal choice is the manner in witch we walk along a certain road… the difference with some is that they are unwilling to stop and sample the alternatives… the routine of their minds is trapped in the way they know works for them… and they have a difficulty shifting the possibility to any other road to get them their… Explorations into alternatives is not some thing most people in joy… they know what feels go so do it this way… reminds me of sex for some reason… well, most things remind me of sex… but there are those that are adventurous with places, methods and pleasuring one another… then there are those that know what works and for them… just do this is the way to their pleasure… and alternatives need knot apply… it is personal choice… it is our willing ness to explore beyond our rigid set of rules… to embrace another’s idea for a time… to try it on… to explore the potential of it… there need knot be an ode… nor a word… just a sense that doing is important… sharing is necessary and compromise need knot be a surrender of ones ideals…

    Don't mind at all.

I wasn't happy four years ago, and I'm even unhappier at the prospect of the next four. But I won't make my diary a political forum. I have cherished friends on the other side of the fence, and politics is not worth losing them!

So let's just do the best we can with the hand that's dealt us.

    Shalom

"It is sad that the majority of people in DD, who support bush seems to express their joy in pretty much unsofisticated manner, mostly using swear words, as if they can't find the proper ones to prove their course" I have to say what is proper? I don't agree with the swearing but it is their diary, and unsophisticated manner for some of us, yes. Maybe for them it is just the way they always speak. At any rate, I very much agree with you. The right to vote for who we want is our right. We should respect each others right, we don't have to agree with them. Life is too precious to fight over politics. We need to work together and pray next time around we have some real choices. BLAH on this mess.

i feel that I must say few more words about why I said what I said. it was mostly the reflection of my sadness, when I found some of my favourite diaries being influenced by politics to that extend. I must admit, that I've been reading them for a while and really enjoy the style, the thoughts and presentation. and although I knew their political views, that was never an issue to me. I think, what struck me - dissapointment in my own expectations. I guess, this just shows how little we know of others, even if they seemed to be pretty opened in their web blogs...or, alternatively - how strong politics affects our lives...

Thank you for posting the Rumi poem in your second entry. Good food for thought.
