Stress Management
Tue Nov 23 2004

When our life becomes boring, we search for extremes. If we can’t find extremes around us, we make them up inside our mind. Of course, being completely artificial, the ideas will never get resolved, thus resulting in extreme frustration.
Then we are dealing with frustration…
Later we might even laugh at ourselves, looking back.
Ok. Here is a new Poll about stress management (additional option added). Feel free to leave totally anonymous vote:

smash the mirror you looking into

jump in a car and race the police on a night motorway

frustration is a step on the way to learning some thing new and different... most times we get frustrated because we continue to do some thing in the hope of getting different results... witch is on me defintion of insanity... so when I get frustrated I do some thing new and different... there is always another way... butt if we are so close we are unable to see it... taking a leap back wards often gives the perspective we need...

man, i had the same choice! 1 or 3,1 or 3....

eventually chose three because thats just usually what i do now when im really stressed so...it seemed like the more honest answer. lol.

i would have to say that in some aspects i am at my best when i am at my worst state because:

my tears ducts are at optimal function making my lacrymal glands cleansed from impurities,
my emotions are given the attitudinal calisthenics essential for growth and behavioral & social maturity,
my creative writing & poetic skills are put into practice given the literary license based on personal motivation.
and last but not the least, my musical inclination to listen to sad and depressing songs draw from within me a well of undiscovered dramatic prowess.
and i couldnt believe i wrote this answer directly and spontaneously right at this moment, so you can add my spontaneity at par excellance too. lol.

I don't really like violence, although I have been proven wrong occasionally on that one, I don't really like mirrors, and hate to clean up messes, I am not big on crying, I don't abuse animals...........I would never throw away my cuddley toys (if I had any) so I guess I would do what I would do given your choices, nothing and wait for the frustration to go away. Actually, there is a better cure for frustration (*grins*) but that is not an option on your poll. LOL

LOL, I wonder if you added that choice, and restarted the poll, how much it would change. LOL, that sure changes my attitude. BOY do I NEED an attitude adjustment about now. LOL

Thanks for the comments... I also like your idea of the huge Christmas card with the charity jar. Everyone in our clinic chips in to sponsor a needy family at Christmas. Then different people take different tasks (one group goes food shopping for them, one group gets clothes for the kids, one group gets the mom a gift, one group gets the kids gifts, and another group wraps everything). The wrapped items and groceries are delivered to the family (by the Department of Community Services) a few days before Christmas. It's a good way to celebrate the season at work because it gets you interacting with each other and talking about things other than work.
