It’s A Mahjong Thing
Wed Jan 05 2005

OK. So I’ve done all the reading. I’ve done all the writing. I’ve done all thinking and self-pitying for the past. Last year is lived&over. And in the end of all a solitaire game really made me somewhat content and back in peace with myself – thank You! (it is amazing how some simple things can influence our mind, eh? Well, not THAT simple, as it could be quite challenging – try for yourself! :-p )

What I’ve learnt is that we can never understand others based on their past. As people do change. We can not even understand them based on their answers to our questions. As people do lie. And when they don’t lie, they just pick up the questions they want to answer leaving the rest out. We all do whatever convenient for us, aren’t we?

And the question was: CAN we really ever understand others? And another question was: do we really NEED to understand them? Or just learn to accept. Sometimes accept could be felt like “give up”, but this is just the matter of time and then we should realise the difference. And if we don’t – it is simply – we not meant to. [~hmmmmm…now try not to get lost here– follow my thinking pattern…if you’d find any, that is]

I think, once we’ll get over these issues, everything will be back in place. Perfect. Even if the idea of perfection is different for each one of us. Maybe it is – all about rubbing with different sides, trying to match curves and cavities? And once this done, we could just get on with life and get along.

What a heavy day was – yesterday! And without obvious reasons to it. Unless, of course, the stars could tell something different. But having lived through it, today we meet with a smile. With a hope...well, even if without hope, but at least – with no more tension, right?

Astonishing conveniently (as usual) - good old Smokie song on my way in the morning: [~you do believe that songs could be like premonition now, don’t you?]

It's the real time in the real world
Take your feelings with some fright
Have spirit have some passion ghost
When spirit's gone you die
When this passion faces has gone from you
You'll end up wondering why
such a foolish thing could happen
Take your wings and start fly…

I believe over standing comes when we allow a person to be who they are... accepting what they are willing to give... expectations I find are the basis for most Miss Understandings... The song for today... you can't alwasy get what you want... YOU GET WHAT YOU NEED...

I think accepting a person for who they are is all you can do. You can't try to change anyone, you should not change for someone else. Maybe we are too demanding for that PERFECT person that never really is there. I like to think I can accept a person for who they are to me, I just want honesty.
