Be still and allow the mud to settle. [Lao Tzu]
I’ve been thinking about Patience…How nobody have it exactly the moment, when most needed…
Some of us can be so patient, that often miss the point in time when it’s time…And others – on the other end of equation – too impatient to allow themselves a luxury of anticipation…I want to know what exactly is – Patience…
Main Entry: 1pa•tient
Function: adjective
Etymology: Middle English pacient, from Middle French, from Latin patient-, patiens, from present participle of pati to suffer; perhaps akin to Greek pEma suffering

3 : not hasty or impetuous
4 : steadfast despite opposition, difficulty, or adversity
5 : able or willing to bear -- used with of
See the first meaning? – its about pain and trials! No wonder we don’t like to be patient…I am learning. I’ve never been patient. “Here & Now” has always been my next thought after “I Want This”. I’m training myself to achieve something in this area. And I have a good teachers.[~oh, so good sometimes, its driving me mad!LOL...just shows that i still have got a lot to work on, huh?]
I think the main trick here – to know what exactly is it that you wait for so impatiently...[~is it a train? a bus? favourite TV show? a payslip? or something else? ;-)]and then you just learn to live without that...for a while.
Interesting to check back on this diary in few years time to see if anything‘s changed, but I guess, I will be too impatient to wait that long! :-)
