Shades Of Fall
Mon Oct 10 2005

Colours burst in wild explosions
Fiery, flaming shades of fall
All in accord with my pounding heart
Behold the autumn-weaver
In bronze and yellow dying
Colours unfold into dreams
In hordes of a thousand and one
The bleeding
Unwearing their masks to the last notes of summer
Their flutes and horns in nightly swarming
Colours burst within
Spare me those unending fires
Bestowed upon the flaming shades of fall
[~Dark Tranquillity, With the Flaming Shades of Fall~]

I’ve been at University’s Arboretum today…

oh joy! how can you be so favored living in a beautiful haven of paradise, enjoying the multicolors of the 4 seasons, and i have to be on this end contenting myself with dust and bluish gray waters of the sea? :(

how about swapping places for half a day. i swear you'd be in your bed by night time and i will be in mine. lol.

    gorgeous photography lovely Lana
and I regret to say that it doesnt look like my compliments will ever stop

the tree is beautiful in colour meditation orange is the colour of sociability yes the tree looks like it is inviting discourse hee hee

the valley by my place is gorgeous I will have to post about that soon it is so beautiful to see the evergreen and bright yellows and oranges reds with a shimmering silver river that weaves in and out of the landscape as it is sometimes blocked by the landscape and this gives such a dream quality to the vision

a toadstool wonderful that looks like the kind of toadstool that would invite a fairy ring unless ofcourse you touched it up in adobe ha ha

what I remember very strongly about dostoyevsky was that his characters were always drinking tea I guess that makes philosophizing easy

    beautiful entry
I noticed a tree so fire red.. I wanted to paint it.. But no time. I didn't have my camera.. I do need to get some shots of these vivid colors though.. not much more time and the red will be on the ground and the arms of the trees bare
    brrrr.. winter chills me

Awww... that's so sweetly nicely wonderful and stuff. Poems and photographs. It's like romance, only everyone can have a piece. Not just the two that do.

And, Really Yummy Chicken, I totally think that you should have a fantastical plot filled with happy things. Like flowers and dancing elves and love slaves and a unicorn. But a moody unicorn, like Eyeore. Only prettier. Hhhhmmmm... but for conflict, (since every great person needs a little variety from the mondane happy things in life :-) We could add... a very very short man. And by short, I mean inept. Like a blow up doll. Little anatomy and little conversational skill. Mostly sits there and looks kinda frightening. And the conflict would be... that you are madly in love with him. Yes..

I think that plot suits you much more than a fading fall. I'd say autumn, but I rather like the alliteration...
