Joining Public Transport Party
Thu Nov 10 2005

Today I came to work twice…well, not really, but technically I did. Honestly. I had to take my hb to Oxford at 5:30am and it was just indecently early to come to work at that hour… I didn’t want to look like a freak, calling security asking to open the door for me, as I wish to enjoy my job for two hours before everyone else will…so I get back home and then I went to Oxford again…at a normal hours…and this time I decided to be creative and have a variety of ways to get to work…in other words…I took a train. Yep. I’ve joined a great army of public transport users once again…(last time I did it last Christmas and it was that kind of date when you think of “never again” afterwards) anyway, that happened between me and the Oxfordshire buses, so trains were ok for trying out this time…Now I, actually, recall how I’ve used the trains once few of years ago…So I went back to dig out that old DD entry dedicated to the trains…I’m too lazy to type all the same again and also I'm that smart to come up with brilliant idea of copy&paste trick…and make few relevant updates...

22 Jan 2003 - Hurray - to Public Transport!
Today I've become a public transport commuter, like millions of other poor sods who need to rely on something not reliable to get to work every day...
My car has gone to scrap and so now I need to take train to get to Oxford. [* not this time though, my Mondy-boy is very well, thanks for asking] ...At first I felt so unhappy, sorry for myself, imagined how everyone will pity me...aaawwww, pictures warm to my heart...Well...it wasn't that bad after all...The weather greeted me with nice bright morning, surprisingly the train hasn't been delayed and the journey was quite pleasant with the CD player, I've nicked from my son...[** that’s to be magically transformed into my own IPod nowadays, of course and 2Gb of music – could’ve travel to the North Pole with this!]  OK, so - I don't pity myself anymore (at least for today) and I've actually, discovered one good thing about travelling by public transport: you get to THINK on the move. You don't need to concentrate much on the traffic, like when driving, so a lot of thoughts can fly around in your head…errrrrm…or - is it - a bad thing about public transport?...

See? More then two years gone and I still can THINK (at least when on a train)!
