Ok, so I’ve decided to donate my personal collection of hair bands to the office pile of Christmas stuff. Yes, I do have them in collection – in fact, I have three of them – each year when I went to the SwitchingOnTheChristmasLights event in our town, I bought one of those sparkling things…no reason other then I like them. I like to put the flashing thing on and suddenly be silly and childish and then you can do whatever you like and you won’t be judged strongly, as nobody would take you seriously… so I’ve got two “things with balls”…(don’t laugh, as they ARE in fact, a couple of balls with tinsels, on spring-ish “legs”, the ones that wobbles when you walk around, you know)…Also known as the Deeley Boppers… And a pair of furry bunny ears with a tiny switch between, that makes them flash with blue lights hidden deep inside the white fur, oh so cute…and as I never wear them after I bought them, it was sensible to bring them as my contribution to the collective joy. It was nice to walk around office today, getting smiles from those otherwise serious and boring people…there is always joy to the season, if you really want to enjoy it!
