Rain rain rain…no snow, just plain british rain…dull as always for the festive season, which is normal here…Two days with no listening to my music indicate that I must’ve been seriously sick…sick as in "stuffed nose and hedgehog curled into a ball inside your throat", sick as in "waste your day in bed"…oh the joys of Christmas Flu and what a "heroic" end of the year!..But actually, I do feel better now, to which the proof is this entry.
So…we are now in the last hours of 2005…I can’t say I’m sad to see it go. For all the best moments that happened during this year, there were few sad as well. I will never forget the Journey Of My Lifetime to the Land Of Pharaohs. But also I will always remember friends I’ve lost this year. I believe 2005 happened to be a year of the most profound changes for me personally. Perhaps, it was that "time to change", or maybe the circumstances pushed it forward, but finally I’m learning to see my worthiness, to feel ok about self and to be proud to be me. With that comes along confidence, and I consider that little step forward to be my greatest achievement of last year. I have not done completely with all of my insecurities, but I will certainly continue to work on it. And this will be my only real resolution for the years to come.
But enough of serious stuff, improper for the festive mood. I went back a year ago and discovered that I’ve lied in my previous entry, saying that I don’t do resolutions at all. [opssss....] Apparently, I did have New Year resolutions written down on December 31st 2004…
Nah...I don’t feel bad about lying either, coz they were just jokes I’ve picked up from the internet, so can’t be taken seriously, really. And to continue the tradition, here goes even more new year resolutions for the spirit of the occasion and for the fun of it. Because what is the better date to have fun if not New Year Eve?!
