Where Are My Rose-Colored Glasses? Quote-Freak.

cynic: "an idealist whose rose-colored glasses have been removed, snapped in two and stomped into the ground, immediately improving his vision."

I think, I’ve got too much of philosophical views on life, I now need more relaxed ones, maybe cynical even. For the balance. Life is easier to live when you don’t plunge into her philosophy. Depths of self consciousness could easily be conquered with a bit of right equipment to block the views of the abyss in which you're diving....we fear less when we don't see what’s coming… I’ve found a site, a sanctuary . It is a nice one I’ve spent lotsa time in there yesterday.

They called Shakespeare a cynic!!!…can you imagine?! I always thought of him as romantic, well, that’s makes him what? - a romantic cynic or cynical romantic!? LOL…I love that. Life is "a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing." [ Macbeth]

A few quotes to ponder about:
"Experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes." [Oscar Wilde]
“Do not try to think outside the box. That's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth. There is no box” [Anon]
Every truth has a context [Anon]
Virtue: an action against the will [can’t remember who’s]

Something else, I’ve discovered today, totally unrelated to the previous (“One of the advantages of being disorderly is that one is constantly making exciting discoveries.”
[A. A. Milne] ):

Did you know that today is…Winnie the Pooh Day! (it’s A.A. Milne's Birthday and official day of the Pooh bear, apparently) Have a sweet and bouncy day, everyone!
~After all what are birthdays? Here today and gone tomorrow.~ [Eeyore]
