If you are not getting enough seasonal cheer, make it yourself.
First it happened office Christmas party. Well, not the office Christmas party, but my team’s Christmas party. And not exactly party even, but Christmas lunch. Hmmmm…not so cheerful combination, as my team is not exactly those who work in my office. And lunch is just a course of festive meal consumed in a company of colleagues under compulsion. Long story. Maybe even boring story. So never mind. The proper Christmas Party for our department (well, ex-department for me and few of equally unlucky folks, as technically we do not belong there anymore, just occupying premises) so the proper party will be next week’s Tuesday – starting at 8pm and finishing at willseeaswegoalong…(there is always keys from our office and a couple of armchairs there, should anyone missed last train)
So. First happened a party. Then we returned to the office and amused ourselves with some more Christmas activity. Being in a right mood does help to make the mood even rightier. And the office even more tinted to the occasion. And from there it was very difficult to stop, really. I came home and guess what happened there? Yep, I put on all my Christmas decorations. All by myself and for myself. How cool is that?! This is actually my little personal record – normally I would decorate house day or two before Christmas (I just never feel the need to have all the wonder too well in advance, as by the time the real Christmas comes, all the excitement’s gone) But today I beat my records. Oh well, I believe, that when it feels like doing, it’s got to be done. And finally. Having finished the room, guess where my eyes turned to next? ;-) my DDHome is no less important to me, coz I spend so much time there. Well, few trinkets here and there might just do the job of reminding 'Tis The Season!
