That Randomless Of Global Warming
Sun Apr 15 2007

Ok, so first (and last, apparently) snow on the 8th of February – that was ok, wasn’t it? Just a "side-effect" of Global Warming, I assume…shrug your shoulders and consider it’s normal…And just when you’d think they finally came to senses in that weather department, opssss…mid-summer in mid-April…bah…

We are being hit by...the Heat Wave. Yep. As far as I remember, I can’t remember when it was last time that we mown the lawn and had first BBQ in April. To be honest, I am not happy. Not at all. I believe I’ve been deprived of my entitlement for sluggish days of spring, when you can’t do much and do not wish to either. Magical days of watching in awe the Nature’s awakening, the beauty of her gentle pallet of pastel colours…Those wonderfully idle days, when you can feel the spring in the air, breathe in her promises and have the dreams of summer lying comfortably on a sofa…

Instead we have the Summer arrived like unbidden guest. As of a sudden teenagers bared legs and bellies, the trees began to emit pollution in panic that they missed their time, the earth in my garden cracked dry…the temperatures jumped to +23C (75F) this Sunday…

I had to remind myself few times that it is truly still April and officially still spring. But looking in the mirror after the weekend spent outdoors, I’ve noticed a touch of the first kiss of sun – a light tan on my face – now that just doesn’t make any sense in April…and looking at the 5-days forecast predicting yet another few days of high temperatures, I hope secretly that the weathermen get it wrong, like the weathermen suppose to…Bring back the Spring! I believe I deserve it :-(

The thing that always gives me pause about the hype around 'global warming' is programs about The Little Ice Age way back before cars and factories...

I think the climate is doing what it always has done.... fluctuate....

you are having a heat wave and we are in a cold wave!!
In one day the temp dropped 50 degrees!!! that was from the days high to the next days low.. fifty degrees!!! crazy! and now the water people are telling us we are in another moderate drought..
we just got out of that last year!! it is indeed a worry and will not get better until every person and country realizes that changes need to happen now!!
I got an email that the UK has recommended pulling education about the holocaust from schools because the Muslim population doesn't believe it happened (?!) Is this true or propaganda..?? I am in shock over that one.. It was from some British news paper~~
I'll try to find it and send you the link
have a good week my friend
    And stay cool!!!

We are still waiting for spring here! I wish we could go out and comfortably bbq! There is still a little snow on our ground but they are calling for a lot of rain and fog for the next week so that will take care of it.

    Enjoy the early summer!
