So, the latest changes are a massive change to the backend. You won't notice much on the front end - but for those of you who are comfortable testing things, I'd really appreciate if you'd have a play with the following;
- Set up a Followers Only Diary
- Get some people following
- Allow some to see entries and others not to
- Test that those that should see, can
- Test that those that shouldn't see, can't
- Create private entries
- Test that no-one sees those
I've run my automated test suite across all this but it's such a massive backend change that I'd like to be confident that I've not inadvertantly exposed private or followers only diaries/entries to the world.
Change to the Editor
You'll notice the buttons on the editor have switched around a little to put the more popular options at the front to reduce horizontal scrolling. Thanks to Missy Moo, MissTick and D'vorah for that suggestion.
I've also fixed a date bug reported by Tim whereby the Calendar Picker (where you set the date for your entry) was dropping down by a day whenever you edited it. This was one of those annoying 'timezone' bugs I mentioned a month or so ago but couldn't repeat... Turns out I could...
As always, thoughts very welcome 😀
