Deleting Cookies.

You're seeing the stale cookie more than once?
You're using IE?

Choose Tools, Internet Options, Settings, View Files.
You'll get a windows explorer window come up. Click the 'Internet Address' header twice (or until the arrow points upwards), then look for the file that starts with cookie: and has www.deardiary.net in it. Select the file, delete it. You shouldn't see the stale cookie problem on deardiary.net again.

Thats the theory anyway.

Good luck if you use Netscape - its been so many years since I used Netscape I couldn't begin to tell you how to do it - perhaps some kind soul will post a comment with how its done :-)

    top taskbar
    edit
    preferences
    privacy & security
    cookies
    view stored cookies
    highlite cookies to be deleted and hit remove!
    tis all done :)

    Its worth noting that you should remove ALL cookies that look relevant to our sites. So if you see one for www.deardiary.net and one for just deardiary.net then you need to remove BOTH.

    Wow that sounds like an odd problem... I never really search for diarys and leave notes here.. guess I'm mean like that =o How is the new software coming along that you guys are working on.. I would love to see an update (or just what you guys are planning on doing) on that... =o)

    Oh yea i do have a suggestion for here and open fiction.. how about a read all notes button so you can see all of your notes instead of having to go through entry by entry? =o)

    hello, I hope you are the right people to point this out to.
    Currently, I am being told that I am "Tigerlilly" who it seems used to post here (I am not her)
    The thing is, this girl apparently gave her real name/ ph # etc to someone she must have trusted, and now, who ever wants to slander ME, is posting this Tigerlilly's details, using a name "Liz" and also saying they know where she works and are going to contact her company.
    Now, I am NOT this person, and feel its unfair that if these idiots DO actually some how know where the girl works, it may effect her!!!

    It is out of control and completely crazy, and in fact could really effect someone who, (far as I know....) is not even here at dd????
    Any thing you can do?

    Hi...I have a question...Is it possible to delete a comment from Openfiction? Why isn't there a delete option there?
