Surprise Surprise Surprise
Tue Jul 15 2003

My husband just bought me a new natural keyboard.

This was a big surprise.

I am getting used to it. It has a whole bunch of extra buttons that take you to places like your email program and open the web browser without using the mouse.

The software that came with it also wanted to suck all the information from my computer and place it on display on the internet, so we did not register it. My Norton Virus software warned me 10 times that the keyboard was trying to connect to the internet. I told it NO WAY 10 times and it gave up.

I don’t know if it is sulking right now or not.

Is this a better keyboard or not? I am not sure. It is pretty quiet. When I am typing it sounds like tree frogs dancing on jello. There is a sort of suction cup sound that is pretty funny.

Ah well, another thing to get used to. It’s nice and clean, it has that going for it. Which makes you wonder just how grungy my old keyboard was eh? I have never spilled a soda on it or anything.

The evening has gotten away from me already.

I spent a solid hour giving Robbie a bath and trimming his toenails and cutting off some extra fur that might make him a little cooler. I think he is feeling better, although I have to coax him to eat. I put rice and cottage cheese on a spoon and give it to him, then he eats it. But he seems perkier tonight. That makes me feel better. When he is sick, I am kind of sick too.

Okay, I have had enough of the dancing tree frogs…. And green jello has never been my favorite……I mean it must be green jello they are dancing on don’t you think???

(I like black cherry jello)

Is a natural keyboard the kind that's like a semi circle shape? Also excuse my ignorance but what is jello? Poor Robbie, my dog used to look pitiful all through the hot days of summer until someone took pity on her and gave her a lick of ice cream.

Yeah, you've been wanting a new keyboard. Frogs on jello, huh? Interesting.

Poor Robbie. Why not a bit of ice cream? My cat loves it and begs for it. I limit her intake cuz milk and milk products really aren't too good for mature cats.
