We Still Love Harry
Sun Aug 10 2003

My big projects of the day have been accomplished.

I took two naps.

An hour in the morning, and two hours in the afternoon…. Ahhhh….

And I finished Harry Potter.

She has written another good story. We still love Harry. But both my husband and I want to put a “Verbosum Eliminatum” spell on Rowling for the next two books.

In many places, she just went on and on and on. When two pages would have done, she wrote 10.
And that gets annoying after a while. But otherwise it was a good story. Full of all the things we might expect from Hogwarts and Harry.

Now the only thing about taking two naps is that it is time to go to bed and I am WIDE AWAKE!

What I need now is a good sleeping spell…..

Slumberinium Imedia ! Pooofff!

(I think I need to practice that one….I’m still awake)

TWO naps in one day....damn....don't think I have taken one nap in one day more than twice in my life lol. Sometimes I wish I could though. I used to hate to sleep anytime as it seemed like of waste of one's life.

RYC: I didn't think of that.....Tom McClintock would be the perfect balance. I do not particularly like some of Arnold's social policies, but detesting Joe Davis (and I don't even live there) like I do, and always have, Arnold is a breath of fresh air. I do believe that he is sincere, and I do like his approach to children's programs. Like it or not, they are our salvation, and as many parents do not know, or don't care to learn, how to take care of them, unfortunately a lot of them need help. IT DOES NOT TAKE A VILLAGE THOUGH!!!! The big thing is....that he not to get sucked in by the SF Lib crowd.

Seems like most people are saying the same thing. Pity the publishers were keeping their eyes on the money instead of the content. ;-)

I wonder how far the movies will stretch to, I know they're making a third one as we speak but I think they would struggle with the fifth book I reckon they'll amalgamate books 4 and 5 what do you think?

Glad you got some rest time- think of your new couch!
