Amethyst Zuchinni
Sun Mar 07 2004

I think we should stage a revolt.

A revolt against the limited "Standard Windows Fonts".

We need more fonts that we all share in common.

I want to write in my "Amethyst Zuchinni" font, but you probably wouldn't be able to see it anyway. Anybody have "Amethyst Zuchinni" installed in their font file?

Hmmm, I could make a graphic out of it and post it on Hami Pics and show you. I'll do that. Back soon- (ish)....

Here you are. . .

Isn't that special? Hmmmmm?

It's the little things that make it fun don't you think?

ANYWAY, I am also making the announcement now, so you won't be stunned later, that I have been working on a new look for my diary. I found some graphics at "Graphic Garden" that I used and it will be my Spring look. I opened a fake diary and have been tweaking the daylights out of it instead, so as not to disrupt this one until all the bugs are worked out. I learned a few things along the way, and I feel confident that just about the time I get to the place where the customizer doesn't baffle me totally, they will update it to something completely different!!

Finished reading "The Two Towers" today. I was chafing at the bit quite a lot, since I know how things went and it was hard to go along so slowly. Even though I love the story and admire it's author, the thing IS wordy. But considering the time that he wrote, and the impatience of us poor modern readers, I blame my own shortcomings, not Tolkien's.

I do like that font! One of these days I'll change the font on my diary, I keep meaning to do so but it's a hassle to have to type the code in before each entry. Yes, I know, I could copy and paste pre-made code but that requires forethought and I don't have too much of that to spare.

Eager to see the new diary tomorrow!

Can't wait for the new look. I found reading Tolkien made me relax, even when the story got very tense. They style was a much needed tonic for my days. Hope you enjoy the last one, too. ;-)

Amythest Zucchini? I thought that was species of vegetable. Oh, wait. Zucchini is technically a fruit because it's seeds are inside.

    Oh, well.

    Interesting graphic.

I still can't read "friends only" diaries. But at least I can leave comments now.

Should-a been at shul today. Bat mitzvah and TONS of food!!!

    Shalom

I'm a bit of a font freak myself.
I would love to read LOTR books again, but I get tired just thinking about it

I have so many fonts I don't know what to do with them all. I never use them in entries, though, because they may be substituted on a reader's computer with a completely unreadable font, and that would irritate my readers. And yes, I do have Amethyst Zucchini.
