Living Dangerously
Fri Apr 09 2004

I am living dangerously today, composing in the entry box on line.
Mostly because I intend to keep this short.

I read a diary today, and found a really great idea. The diarist had a page available with several of her "get to know me" diary entries that you could just click on and read. I loved the idea and decided to put it on my own diary.
I am embarrassed to say now, that I cannot locate her diary to give her credit for such a great idea! I went through all the updates for today, and just can't remember it. (That's what I get for reading random diaries!)

In any case, if you go to my Welcome page, there is a list of links to some of my favorite entries, all nice and neatly ready for rainy day reading if you like.

* * *

I just got back from the Library. I ordered a book WEEKS ago that finally came in. The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown. I must go now and start reading. I have heard from several people that it is a great read, I hope the reports are true!

PS. Thanks to Yarngirl. The diary I got the idea from is Jamisinc. I will try to be more observant in future :-) Thank you J. for the inspiriation!

Oh nuts. I've seen that diary too, and I have no recollection of whose it is. Should I trip over it again, I'll let you know.

Rather than do that, my intent has always been to plant the links as a series of "Easter Eggs" in my index, home, header and footer. I've done a few, but it isn't what I want it to be yet, and I've just been too freaking lazy to do any more recently. Hopefully that will change soon (I only started two years ago).

Was it Jamisinc? She has something along those lines on her welcome page. It's very nice, I have to agree. I'll be checking yours too. I can think of just a couple of mine worth pulling out, but maybe I will.

oooohhhh, let me know how you like the Dan Brown book. I have been wanting to read it for weeks and it hasn't been in and I am too cheap to pop the $17.99 at WallyWorld to get it.

The Da Vinci Code is fantabulous. I devoured it in a couple of sittings it makes you itch to look up all the paintings by the Masters and look at them through a magnifying glass for clues.

Fantastic idea for the welcome page.

What a good idea, I have just read your entry on Yoga and Sarah - great!

Your comments about croissants have me drooling and counting down the hours until I can have a real French one *smile*, I don't worry about the butter and the thighs at the moment - I bet i will in the future!!

I loved the DaVinci code. It's a book that is enjoyable to read and challenges you intellectually. It makes you really think about a lot of topics.

I can't wait to hear what you think of it.

Oh good, you have the book too. I'm waiting on my daughter to finish it and she has been full of praise and awe so far. I'd love to read your opinions as you go along.
