I had a wonderful dream.
I was walking on a familiar hillside under some huge old oak trees and something caught my eye in the brown and green colors of the hill. A flash of white. I looked closer and there was Robbie, his nose stuck deep in the fallen oak leaves, trying to identify some exotic smell.
I cupped my hands on either side of my mouth and yelled, "Raaawwwbbbeeee!"
He looked up, and started walking in his usual slow mosey toward me, clearly letting me know that I was going to have to come up to where HE was, thank you very much!
Because exotic smells were WAY more interesting at the moment, than tagging along with me. Besides, he knew I rarely handed out any really interesting doggy cookies while outdoors, so what's the rush right?
He looked so happy in the big woods.
If you decide to submit your own diary, you might have to check back several times before there will be an opening for a review. I think I got in on my fifth trip there. And if you feel inspired to give your own opinion of some diaries, they are open to register new reviewers. . . Check them out! Update: I just checked back on their site and I am 39th in line for a review!
I have submitted my diary for a review on the Weblog Review. (Link at left and at the bottom of the page.) We shall see what they think. I thought it would be fun. I have read quite a few interesting reviews there and visited a lot of other diaries/blogs. One that I would really recommend you take a look at is the Japan Window Blog. There are great pictures of everyday things going on in this man's life in Japan, like his daughter's entrance into kindergarten, and local "viewing the blossoms" picnic.
Anyway, I'll let you know what they said about my diary. It looks like it might take several days to hear back from them.
It should be a while before they get to me! Wow! We should volunteer to help...
