It's A Start!
Thu Aug 12 2004

Oh ho! I re-wrote my chapter yesterday and am about to set upon the second in a little while here. It was very satisfying work too. I allowed myself to slow down. Take time. Sit with a sentence. Read it over out loud until it sounded right. I even added several things to clarify and bring home certain points. I didn't die. It didn't kill me. I didn't faint from over exertion. In fact it was fun, in a serious kind of way.

I now go forward filled with confidence that I can DO this!

(Yeah, she's real brave today. Wait till she gets to chapter 14. I've seen it. It's one that she dictated using Dragon Naturally Speaking. It's a freakin' nightmare. Let's see what happens when THAT mess comes up in the process. I can hardly wait!)

He never gives up does he?

I'm thinking about posting a link in my main menu displaying the number of chapters finished and the number still remaining. As a sort of incentive to keep moving. I'll work on that later today.

Here's one last picture of the Bunny Tail Grass in the yard

And a picture of the peach I ate for breakfast right after this shot. It was too pretty to eat without some kind of fanfare. Hub Man took the picture for me as he was going out the door to work. Because as you can see I had my hands full at the time!

Wow! That's a peach and a half. Was it as tasty as it was pretty?

Saw that Bunny Tail Grass for the first time in your yard. Looks sort of like overblown pussy willow (except for the stem)?

I'm waiting for the next chapter(s).

    Shalom

Hello! Are you working on a book? It's about time! I wish I could read you more often but Dear Diary doesn't really work on my explorer, it loads and then shows an error and it was getting incredibly difficult to comment. But I'm on Netscape now, so I plan to catch up.

Can you digitize one of those peaches and send it to me via email so I can reconstitute it and smell it and eat it? You're driving me NUTS with those pictures!

Ignore the inner critic we don't believe in him anyway now do we? That is one huge peach it reminds me of that book by Roald Dahl. Good going with the editing sometimes it's the hardest part.

hugs and some willpower to keep you going
