Miss Manic Wakes Up
Sun Dec 19 2004

I'm up early. AWAKE!

It seems earlier than it really is because the fog is so thick and dark. But I suppose that's normal two days before the shortest day of the year. No wonder some of us are near hibernation! (Pragmatist, you KNOW what I'm talking about!)

We have company coming today to watch movies together and eat. (Must eat!)

I am having dry smoked salmon, homemade hummus, sun dried tomato cottage cheese dip, bagels, crackers, devilled eggs, fresh red grapes, and I'm going to bake some chocolate chip cookies this morning to finish it all off. I might make some mulled cider since I have the fixings come to think of it.

My mouth is watering already.

I am having the crazed desire to go for a walk, even in the misty wet fog that has made everything drippy outside. Restlessness. I need to burn off some fidgits. I can feel the beginnings of a little manic episode approaching. I'm trying to use that energy wisely when it shows up.

I gotta go, I can't sit here in front of the computer any more right now...

Stand back! Clear the doorway! I'm outta here!

Movies!!! now you just have to have pop corn or
or it won't be fair. We have the frezzing foggy
morning and Medford is really socked in, the Airport has been down again. You reall should go out to the wildlife refuge and and see all the waterfowl as it is a lifting body and mind kind of thing.

    Missed you yesterday.

    Today sounds utterly delicious!

Y'know there's something special about walking in the fog. It seems you're alone, sounds are diminished, and it's like a different world. Also it's nice to get back in the house and a cup of hot chocolate.

    Shalom

Oh boy, could I use some manic energy. Might you have some to spare? Perhaps you could bottle it and sell it as a side income. I, for one, would be first in line.
