It has been a blessing to see how the elections went in Iraq. Even the most vitriolic naysayer cannot quench my joy. May they continue to show this same kind of courage and forge ahead in the long road toward freedom and stability.

    Yes, it's encouraging about Iraqis' voting. I read several comments in the paper from voters. One woman said it was the insurgents' threats that firmed up her desire to vote. She collected her whole family and went to the polls.

    I like the purse. Are those beads some of what you bought at the bead store?

    I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one who did a little victory dance last night while watching the news. They still have a long road ahead of them, but this is an amazing accomplishment so far!
