Just Peachy
Wed Feb 02 2005

I went out to do errands. I was gone for two hours.

All I came home with was a bag with lettuce, and a bag with silver heart shaped buttons for my latest little purse creation. But I also went to the bank and made them take off the 3 dollar service charge from my account. They were just SURE that it was correct.... until they checked a few dates and ..... uh oh! So now my pittance of a savings account is not even more impoverished by bogus deductions. And I got gas in the car, which made the whole service charge thing seem really silly. That smelly stuff costs quite a bit these days.

My cold is much milder today. I can hardly say I am suffering. The headache has left the building and I am thinking clearly. Well, as clearly as I normally do anyway.

I am off into the warmish winter afternoon to prune the peach tree. Drastic measures are about to be taken to ensure a nice sturdy structure to hopefully bear more luscious fruits this season.

Here's the latest. Made from small cotton crochet thread:

Is that felted? It doesn't look it, but then again I don't know much about felting? Have you found a good site with free bag patterns?

You keep this up and I won't want to show off any bags I may make in the near future. They won't look anything like the beautiful ones you do. I love it!!!

That's a cute purse. Looks a little smaller than the felted ones.

Joan J. had a neat red felted hat that she made. She was trying to decide what kind of decorations to use on it.

I think I could handle the wool you use, but J's hat was of a much harsher wool.

Peaches. Ymmmmmm! Take good care of that pretty tree!

LOVE the buttons! Still no closures though. What a beautiful bag to carry when you wear denim, eh?

You are going to have the most outstanding purse collection on the planet if you are not careful. How do you decide which one to carry? :)

I'm loving your bags!!! I'm more than halfway done with my first knitted wool...soon to be felted bag.

And sooo.... where did you find your cotton? The only cotton I ever seem to find is the small (or big cones) of peaches and cream ...oh is that the name... at Walmart. Most of it's variegated. Nothing quite so pretty as what you have there.
