Windblown
Mon Mar 14 2005

Worked till 11 last night. I have another bag done. But at the cost of a sore muscle in my shoulder. I am hoping that those muscles toughen up because I need to knit like Madonna needs Pilates right now. It's my sanity saver.

The wind is gusting pretty high today from the north. Blowing out the old stale exhaust fumes from too many cars. I had to hold onto my hat when I was out walking, otherwise it would have gone sailing into the next county.

I have a few more feet of I cord to knit for the handle of the bag and I can throw it in the washer. In answer to a question about the green bag, the "spirals" occur naturally because of the variegated yarn. All I do is knit away. I'm lazy that way.

Finished my essay for writing group on Wednesday. I cannot believe how long I put it off. I usually get those kinds of things done early, as I am not fond of writing under pressure. We are supposed to describe a place important to our character and reveal things about him or her in the description. I think I am finally getting a handle on my main character in my novel by doing these assignments. The more I get to know him, the less I like him! That will be good for my story, trust me.

Off I go then.

So much time, so little to do. ..... Um, wait a minute. Strike that, reverse it.
