Who Flipped The Calendar?
Wed Jun 01 2005

Wow. It's June already!

I'm a bit surprised. I was just getting used to May.

I have several pictures to share, but need to get some film developed and get a picture CD so I can do that. I still haven't gotten my usb port splitter so I can use the digital camera. I kind of miss having that little toy! I finished a felted bag for a friend who just got married and I REALLY wanted to put it on my diary. It's a cute one!
But it will have to wait a few more days. I guess I am getting used to instant gratification. Not a good sign.

Tonight is writer's group and I am coming out of the closet. I'm taking one of the Rubber Duckie stories with me. I guess I wanted them to know that basically I am a nut case. It was just too stressful and time consuming masquerading as some serious writer all the time.

I was watching The Dog Whisperer on the National Geographic channel today and saw the episode with the Sheltie again. I can't help but cry when I see that little dog.
He looked a lot like Robbie. You would think by now I would be a little more resilient. But alas, I am prone to puddles when it comes to remembering him.

Hey, I still bawl something fierce when I think of Einy. To us they aren't just pets. They are members of the family and as such the grief over losing them never really fades. The best we can do is remember them for the terrific kids they were and remember that right now they really ARE frolicking at Rainbow Bridge and simply waiting for us to join them.

    ((((((hugs))))))))

You had to go and remind me its June already. That means it is almost time for summer break. That means the boys will be home all day long. Well there goes the peace and quiet. *Sigh*

I just love your Rubber Duckie stories. The writers group should too. And don't forget to insert Bogwillow at least once.

I still miss Miki and Squinchie. We don't ever forget our most beloved pets. I still think about Elroy, and that was 30 years ago! She begged for icecubes, but two were her limit.

    Shalom

That's what my problem is, I've been going through bag withdrawal!!

I still miss my cocker spaniel, even 12 years later. I don't think we ever get over it.

It is only natural that you should still miss your friend, no matter how long it has been.

Let us know how the Rubber Duckie goes over! I love his appearances in your diary.
