Cat Photo Op
Tue Aug 23 2005

Griffen had a really hard evening last night. He was in the back yard on Vole patrol.

This is a very taxing and stress inducing activity. So when he finally gave it up at about 11:45 and decided to come back into the house, he needed a little decompression time. He was having a bit of trouble transitioning from "patrol cat" to "house cat" and raced around the living room in a crazed manner for several minutes, striking a few rather impressive ridge backed, tail frizzed, "cat in a panic" poses that I didn't catch on camera.

But when he finally calmed down. I did get this shot:

Sometimes it's really hard being Griffen.

Griffen looks whooped. Great photo! Too bad meadow voles are so destructive...they're quite adorable little fuzzies.

A good cat is a tired cat, they can't wreak havok if they are sleeping!
It sounds like Griffen had an exciting and fun-filled evening last night. May his patrol be more successful next time.

I'd like to see Griffen and KK tearing up the place together.

When KK finally wears out and goes to sleep, he's as like DEAD. I can pick him up, twitch his whiskers, tickle his ears, move his legs into various positions, and he doesn't even so much as blink. He even stretches out on the floor when I dump him.

Oh, did I mention that he "dies" on my lap?

This cat is certainly no dummy. Sure looks VERY inviting to me!!! Maybe if I went out and chased a few voles and found a larger couch......?

God Bless and take care, Parett
