Where's The Butter?
Wed Nov 23 2005

Well, I tried and tried, but I could not get one of my other pictures to upload. So we will have to be content with this one:

[album 65561 breads2.JPG]

I had a picture of the dough before baking that I liked a lot, but there seems to be a problem. I even deleted some old pictures thinking that I had used up my space or something, but that did nothing to help.

In any case, these are my contribution to the Thanksgiving feast tomorrow. Well, except for the loaf of bread. I made cinnamon walnut bread with some of the extra dough. THAT will be eaten at dinner tonight with fried eggs. That's my plan.

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving day and that you all find many things to be thankful for.

Me, I am going to thank God for my sanity, or what's left of it. A mind is a terrible thing to lose.

Don't eat too much turkey now!

    hello sweet c.c.
everyday is a celebration of life and I really feel that many psychological problems would be solved if we could appreciate the moment more and be thankful for what we have

I love to celebrate the jewish sabbath to light a candle and think of all I have to be thankful for
I received this religious teaching once and I am grateful for this gift from the jewish tradition.
peace be with you my friend

It's so very pretty in here! It's been awhile since I've been able to pop in on people. I'm so happy to have my new home with my computer up and running again.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

Just reading about the visit to the shelter. That was a great start for you. I do hope you find a dog that is just the one for you.

One of the cats I got seemed very calm and uninterested in life. I got it because it got along with the other one we had chosen who was healthy and energetic. Well it turns the quiet cat is not so quiet after all! It was apparently malnourished and it was depressed. What a change bringing it home made! I'm so glad we did chose that cat as it's become my favorite.
