I am listening to the soundtrack from The Chronicles of Narnia.
I snagged a copy of it over at Tower Records on Tuesday.
It is enchanting.
I highly recommend it if you are a soundtrack fan.
What I am enjoying about it, is that the scenes it evokes are MINE right now. Because I haven't seen the movie yet. Not until this weekend.
I am meeting family members and we are going to see it together up north.
Will be heading out in the morning early. Which means there will be fog. We are socked in right now and Hub Man just called a little bit ago to say there was a truck turned completely over on its top that he saw on his way to work.
So in the immortal words of Obi Wan, "We must be cautious."
I wish there was a back way to get out of here...away from the maddening crowds.
Anyway, I will be at my parent's homestead for a week, part of it alone as they are on a trip and won't be home till the 20th. I have created a list of things to do and people to see that is a mile long. I probably won't have a minute to spare!
Then I will meet Hub Man at a certain mountain resort where his oldest daughter has rented a chalet for Christmas weekend. The three little grandaughters will be there and one Great Grandma. It sounds like fun. There might even be snow! Woo Hoo!
I will try to take some pictures to share later.
In the meantime however, I am cultivating Narnia fever. Here comes the Battle Sequence track!
Next entry, God willing, will be from the mountains.
