It would be so wonderful to own a herd like that. I love the beasties. Such majesty and strength.

My desktop is an image of a sunset I took while holidaying in Fiji last year. The sky is radiating shades pink, blue and puprle, a backdrop for the silouette of palmtrees, sailing boats and deck chair recliners. It takes me back there everytime I see it :o)

Yes, you are right, the native Australian possums are much smaller and cuter than the feral ones I am used to seeing in NZ (which are like the north american ones - very rat like)

    Still...a possum is a possum....eeeew! :o)

Typically my desk top photo is one I have taken. My current photo was taken recently at Nathan's school on a rainy day. I'll post so you can see.

Even with starting the seeds inside ages before I take them outside, my summer is not long enough to get the plant to the blooming stage. Anything north of zone 9 is ify as to if it will bloom or not.

You could grow it without many problems where you are with your longer growing season, I'm out of luck so far. It I decide to try it again, I'm going to do it as a house plant.

Actually, I am a little tired of my wallpaper, but I'm going to set up with a fun thing I found online. Um, I'll get back to you on that for the moment, because I don't have time to locate it right this minute. Just don't let me forget. It was writerly, I remember that much. ;-)

Are those Icelandic horses??? The length of leg (or lack there of) makes me ask.
