Re-Taking Territory
Wed Sep 27 2006

I went into the trenches today.

I tackled one corner of our garage. It's my corner. It is home to my canning jars and my wheat grinder, stores things like paper towels from Costco and flats of sodas etc. I have a stack of plastic buckets with wheat berries and rye berries for grinding into flour and gardening supplies too.

Hub Man had slowly encroached upon my mini domain. Maybe it was the diesel engine that he had to have from the wrecking yard not long ago, or the free stuff that he brings home from the dumpster at his work.... in any case, my space had been invaded.

I reclaimed it.

Part of the impetus to clean up a bit is the fact that a relative is giving us a small freezer and we needed a place to put it, so we moved the work bench down a bit and I decided I had to clean up before anyone brought anything else into that garage. I am happy to have the freezer. It's supposed to be brought over tomorrow.

I'm ready.

AND I have my corner back.

So there.

We cannot let encroachers prevail. Hang on. Dig in the heels. Protect your designated space.

    Enjoy the freezer.

    Shalom

Good for you! Never give them an inch for they always take a mile!
I am planning on getting a freezer, too. Your Bro wants one so when ice cream goes on sale he can stock up. (lol) Of course, I want it for more practical items of food, but he better share that ice cream.
    Hugs!

Wow. You're grinding wheat and rye berries into flour! That's awesome! I wouldn't even know where to begin.

Thanks for reminding me about Costco. I just got a memebrship card and have to go get my pic done for it. :)
