Think It'll Help?
Tue Sep 26 2006

Here is the fruit of my labors.

[album 65561 Dayplanner2.JPG]

It's about an inch thick which is a little much, but it will sit on my counter near the phone so I don't have to schlepp it anywhere so I suppose that will work.

I learned a few things about how my printer works, and found out about 'grayscale'. If I ever do this again, I will do more double sided printing. This one is about 2/3 printed on both sides. All in all, I'm very happy with it.

Whether or not it will actually HELP me remember things and get things done I am sure will be monitored closely by ( ). And if I goof up, he will no doubt let you all know about it in minute detail.

(I'm on it.)

Sigh.

That looks terrific! I'll be interested in knowing if you do use it well. What a fabulous idea, and very well done.

That looks really good! I had a look around that DIYplanner site myself, and I'm totally inspired. I'm going into town this weekend to see if I can find a nice folder (and some decent paper, and dividers, and a new hole punch... you realise it'll be all your fault when I spend too much money on stationery supplies?!), and I'm already planning some custom pages for recording bookcrossing releases...

First Solo and now you... I don't need a planner. I need to use my pda, but there's this office supply junkie that lives inside my brain that just thinks I need planners, and pens, and markers, and colored pencils, and pads of paper and...now it thinks it need to make it's own planner....

I'm impressed. Half the fun is making the darn things, for me anyway. Will I actually use one? Maybe. It would very good to have right now. Hmmmm...
    Thanks...I think. :o)

    I've created a monster!! ;)

Bravo, looks very cool, and very "you".

I LOVE my planner and I love that I can just create a new form anytime I need one. I've just created a "Parking Lot" form for ideas, with a few blank lines and a small box (for drawing) for each entry; room to develop the idea for future use. That way I can butterfly-net all those wacky ideas that float through my brain and let them percolate without losing them. Who knows what I'll think up next?

    Now that's a planner! :)

Did you know that the Organized Home site had a form for organizing a fabric stash? Quilty is still all giddy over that one. Now she wants a better way to keep track of finished quilt projects.

I fear order is about to be forced upon me.

That is really cool! I might have to do something like that. Heaven knows that I'm not keeping my Palm Pilot up anymore.

I really dropped by because you just have to see this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6ZjMWLqJvM&eurl=
She reminds me of you. Not so much in appearance, it's more about her determination.

It's not a very exciting template - I just made a table in Word and fiddled with it a bit until it filled an A5 page nicely and had the fields I wanted. I avoided the temptation to get too complex or overly decorative - just something nice and simple that does the job. I can't wait until Saturday when I can go and buy a folder to put it in...

I can email you a copy if you like (though Word isn't great with keeping the formatting when things are emailed).
