To Go Or Not To Go, That Is The Question
Tue Oct 10 2006

I have talked myself into and out of going out shopping today, three times. To say I am ambivalent about the subject would be an understatement.

I have certain items to get for the next few day's dinner menu, and yarn to buy for granddaughter projects that I promised to do. On the other hand I have plenty of chores that need tending to around here. But I might feel more 'settled' if I have my errands taken care of today.

And it gets so wearying to drive around in the car alone. It is isolating. My usual shopping buddy is indisposed bless her heart and hasn't been available to....

Wait a minute, the phone is ringing.

[Jeopardy music playing]

Well, dilemma solved. Shopping buddy wants to go ........ shopping!
So I have an hour to get a few things done around here and then off we go.

It's so good to have friends.

What would we do without them?

(Never make up your flippin' mind, that's what. Okay so I'll join in the feel-good group hug. Maybe I can get some peace and quiet around here if said friend takes 'She Who Must Not Be Named' off my hands for a few hours.... geeze. Excuse me while I go re-arrange and groom my Zen garden. I've been advised to keep one by the good Dr. RD. My stress levels are through the roof lately. This job is WAY tougher than it looks.)

Stress levels through the roof... I need a Zen garden too and I'm not even sure what exactly that is!

Thanks for your PC btw. You're right, of course, and I AM going to try to remember that.

() doesn't know what tough is. He should be so lucky he doesn't live in a houseful of teenagers!! Girl teenagers!

I had a Dr appointment today, so I did some shopping on my way home. Almost $100 worth. Does that qualify as "some"?

Hope you had a happy time shopping with your friend. I don't know what I would do without my friends. They are truly among God's blessings.
    Hugs!
