I just finished reading this book.
I learned things I did not know about Islam.
I learned things I did not know about Europe.
And I learned things I did not know about America. 'The greatest nation on God's green earth', as Michael Medved is wont to say.
And found out answers to nagging questions I had about certain things that I only had 'feelings' about. Now I have facts.
I also understand a lot more about why so many Europeans hate our guts. And I find that I am damn proud that they do. Damn proud.
This book, despite the desperately serious subject matter, has some very amusing moments included at no extra charge.
I recommend it highly if you want a better understanding of what the heck is going on in the world and what we need to watch out for. And yes, what we need to stop apologizing for.
Yours sincerely,
A Yankee, on the brink of 'the end of the world as we know it'.
