Whiner With A Side of Hen
Mon Nov 13 2006

So, like here's the thing.

I get sick for several days and do almost nothing around the house for those several days.

I eventually start to feel better.

The house however remains in its neglected state.

Laundry has multiplied.

Leftovers have gone moldy.

List of things to do have grown cobwebs.

Floors have collected animal hair and leaf bits from the damp back yard have been drug in on said animal's dampy paws.

Dust has settled on all surfaces.

The only things that are not in disarray are the dishes. And that's because I asked Hub Man for help with them yesterday. He's a good boy really. Most of the time.

Who's going to help me today? Hub Man is off bringing home the bacon... well, in our case perhaps it would be more kosher to say... pastrami.

Sigh.

I better start somewhere.

How about laundry?

ready to help all the time.
You would THINK
it might occur to her
to ask ME!
Buk!"

Hummmm perhaps if HEN scratched for a few bits of cracked corn she might cornner a few dustbunnys as a reward. Place sticky pads on Sunny to play the Lazer light. Or just join the rest of us and wait till the clean up mood hits.

That's the trouble with getting sick. Stuff continues while you're shut down.

    *sigh*

Glad you're up to tackling the laundry. Tomorrow the vacuuming?

    Shalom

I'd send the fairies but by the looks of my house they must be on strike *sigh*

I'll gladly lend you my vacuum to tackle spiderwebs if you've got 'em. I don't, for the first time in way too long to mention here. I think the house weighs less than it did before I started.

I hope you feel better soon.
