Bobbie is singing to me from the living room.... "Things Have Changed...."

I am off to the library today with D. I am going to get some books on tape to listen to while I knit. I am expecting my knitting production to triple. . . Okay, double, let's be realistic, because I have a hard time settling down in the daytime to knit. I don't really like to watch much TV in the daytime and there are so many distractions! So I end up doing most of it in the evening. BUT if I have a nice book on tape, I might be able to trick myself into sitting still for an hour or two and whip out my latest project.

You guessed it. Another pair of socks. Ones for a certain birthday girl who picked out her colors in November. I'm starting on the heel flaps today.

I have sadly neglected my hard copy diary printing, and have two months worth to do today. Sometimes I wonder if it is worth it. And other times I am totally convinced.

Today I am convinced. Ergo, print I shall.

I have been missing Sunny these last several days. Maybe Dustbunny3 will give us a report on how she is fairing on her holiday in the 5 acre wood.

I could use some canine therapy. There's nothing quite like it. Now's the best time to be out in the fields around here.

The ticks are sleeping.

That's the main thing right there.

I visited over at the Furry Logic homepage this morning and found this one liner....

"If you get to thinking you're a person of influence, try ordering somebody else's dog around."

Sounds about right eh?

Well SUNNY is doing just fine, she is a well behaved sidekick. Likes to ride in pickup anytime it goes anywhere. The only thing she does not mind about is riding in back seat for anytime I stop and get out she is in front when I get back. Other than that a very controlable sidekick. She knows her property and makes the rounds reading the local paper about three time a day.Gets along well with people, kids, and other dogs. She misses you as though I like her but she knows she is not my sidekick.

Sometimes ordering your own dog around can be a challenge as well.

Sunny misses you. You can see it in her eyes.

    I love Bobbie, too.

Well, we all know about ordering a cat around.

For affection and ego-boosting, there's nothing like a dog. Nothing. They adore us for absolutely no reason at all. And their adoration is unconditional. How can you top that?

Sunny may miss the 5 acres, but I'll bet she'll be happy to see you.

    Shalom

A book on tape would be wasted on me. I get so absorbed in my work I tune out most everything around me. I'd be forever missing some important detail in the plot.

Speaking of tuning out...... the piano tuner is here and him I can not tune out. Ding ding, da ding ding, ding ding.... No wonder people just leave him the key and go find other things to do. Oy. Why are there never any ear plugs handy when a body needs them?

Did I tell you not to listen to 'December'?????? I said what I meant and I meant what I said *giggles*

Along the same note, I highly suggest " 7 Year Itch" as an album because it is an awesome foray into vocal range. The lead singer for Collective Soul has a true talent.

I often think of getting books on tape for knitting/crocheting but haven't bothered yet. I do have a very FEW shows that I record during the week to watch on the weekends while I stitch... when they go off the air eventually I'll not have anything to record. I don't bother to look for new things to watch anymore. Very little out there at all.
