just as they should
of a Monday morning.
Sheets hang out
in the cold winter sun.
Pumpkin muffins are
just out of the oven.
And an experimental
batch of yogurt is
bundled up in
a down comforter
inside a turned off crock pot
on the kitchen counter.
And I think she is even
going to get out the
vacuum cleaner in a
little while.

    RYC: NO, NO, NO.......errrrm, I mean that won't be necessary. Hen has enough to do at your house and you're right in that the dogs would jsut discombobulate her.

    Oh my dear Red how do I wish we could have some of that domestic energy around here. All I see happening on the home front is a lot of scribbling on a big yellow pad of paper. If this is what it means to be a pattern designer I am going to be one unhappy hen as we have spent less than ten minutes at the sewing machine in the last three days.
