Imagine my surprise when I found this pair in my mail yesterday.....

They deny all knowledge of another hen known to reside in these whereabouts.

They started in as soon as they saw the light of day, and began a detailed inspection of a pair of turkey feathers that I found alongside the road the other day.

I think I noticed more than a hint of disapproval on their little cotton faces.

But! But! I was just trying to make some turkey quill pens.....

You got me all wrong!

I think I'm going to need some reinforcements of my own around here.

    So early in the week have (had?) a horse's rear end to contend with. What a way to start a week!

    Yes Mondays can be that way, but sometimes Monday can be a blessing.
    Just got news Both Daisy and I are are accepted by a good Doctor may 18, BIG step at last. Big weight off my mind . Also today had the TRANE heat/Air guy do a complete service on our system and it in good shape and ready for summer. So
    not bad for a monday.

    :o) YAY!! I didn't think they'd arrive until tomorrow at the earliest. I'm so glad you like them, just a very small thank you for everything you are and do for me. Even from so far away. They would have been mailed out sooner, Rick was planning to take them for me last Monday but his back had other plans. ;o)

    (I made a set for Rebecca too, it seemed appropriate.)
