Never A Dull Moment

[album 65561 GoofyHen2.JPG]"I heard a rumor.
Something about a new DOG.
No one consulted me.
I think we have quite enough
FUR around here
thank you very much.
BUK and RUFFLE!"

In other news.... The air show was a fun ride.
Pragmatist came over for the day. We ooooed and awwed our way through the festivities. Here are some pictures from the front yard no less....

Just in case you mistook the plane for a leaf....

And finally, this shows a pretty good view of the Air Force Thunderbird.

Of COURSE, the BEST shot of the day, when on of those planes came screaming just over our heads, down the street, we never got a chance to take, as he (or she as I understand) came up on us in such a hurry, we only had time to cover our ears. Forget about taking a picture.... Sorry I don't have a video of that one. It would knock your socks off! Luckily, I was barefoot already, so no harm done.

It is the theory that our little Sheltie foster dog is supposed to arrive today.
Be assured that as soon as he gets here and settled in a bit, there will be pictures.

If Sunny only knew......

She would be putting out yellow ribbons and helium balloons in the shape of dog bones.

Those planes move so fast it is amazing you got pictures at all. Your camera must not have much of a delay on the shutter.

My favorite is the first one. What an awesome sight.

Fabulous pictures!!! I love the first one.

I sure hope JoJo will like Sunny as much as she will like him.

Poor Red. More responsibilities. Ah well. Such is life living with an animal lover. Just ask mine. :o)

Did JoJo arrive today? And was he slightly overwhelmed by Sunny's greeting?

I'm so glad you got some pictures. Seems my camera does fine with still lives, but it's a total loss after that.

The Thunderbirds fast and noisy, and awesome in their own way, but I think the Blue Angels gave a much better show last year.

And the company was most pleasurable. Thanks for having me.

    Shalom

Now Red, you just settle down. She Who Must Not Be Named will take care of any problems. You just do your job of keeping her on track.

Oh My! I didn't notice the plane closer to your tree till you pointed it out. I LOVED to watch Air Show... When we used to live closer to Scott Air Force base in Illinois. There were few miles away from home and planes would fly past our home with loud vibrations ( rattling our windows )..

    Woot!
