Whew!
Wed Jun 13 2007

I find myself in a very low biorhythm today. I'm putting it down to two days of hyper- vigilant doggy duty. Today it's very relaxed around here, except for Hamlet who just won't 'let it go' with the fuzzed up tail routine. In his defence [and boy does he need one] he WAS chased through the back yard by both the dogs yesterday, knocking over a few things and doing a pretty good imitation of a reverse skydiver over the blackberry vines.

But he RAN you see. First mistake right there. Cats need to stand their ground. Dogs understand this.

They are going to have to work it out amongst themselves.

I can't fix everyone's problems.

It's a bit warmish here today, but with an interesting hot breeze that is keeping it from being stifling. Though ask me again tomorrow what I think of it because I have to go do an errand at around 5 o'clock. The air conditioning is out in my car. It might be interesting. I remember one other time this happened and I took one of those flat freezer pack things and put in on the seat near my neck. Worked pretty good. I may have to make sure that little do dad is in the freezer right now. I'm gonna need it.

Later!

    Reverse skydiver! LOL!
    Such a visual.

Good luck with the fur children.

I dog sat a St. Bernard for a soldier during Desert Storm. It was a big slightly dim dog. He insisted on playing with my cat. The cat stood her ground. After all she was here first.

One day I heard the cat having a fit and called the dog to me. This big goofy dog came down the hall looking very innocent. He was looking from side to side as if he were saying "Cat? What?" The cat who was very annoyed was dangling from the dog's face by her claws. She finally dropped off and from then on avoided the dog.

Yeah, you should let them sort themselves out, for the most part. Take it easy and work on your bracelet. Glad to read you'll be making something beadie. Can't wait to see it when finished. ;-)
