My goodness gracious sakes alive.... I feel like I have returned from a long long voyage, and I pretty much never left the city limits.
Hub Man has been to a skydiving 'convention' or boogie as they call it in Moab Utah. He is on his way home as we speak. So for five days I have been here with my friend who had to go back to work today. She and I stayed up late every night talking ourselves hoarse!
All my usual routines took a flying leap, and I can't say I minded one bit. But here we are, it's Monday and one has to get moving. My chore for the day is to take down the spent tomato plants and clean up the raised beds for winter. Though that may be subject to a rain delay as it has just now started to sprinkle lightly. I don't think it is going to last however. I have seen the 'eye in the sky' pictures and this little system is moving out soon.
Anyway, That's it here for a Monday.
The Hen is so miffed at me for throwing the usual household schedule out the window for five whole days that she is not speaking. To me or to you it seems.
Ah well, you can't please all of the chickens all of the time now can you?
