Under The Shedding Peach Tree Grows. . .
Tue Oct 02 2007

Yesterday I looked out my back door at the messy fall situation in the flower bed. As I was shaking my head at its wilted and bedraggled condition, a spot of color caught my eye.

What is that? I wondered.

I had to get down on my hands and knees to find out. . .

Then I had to go get an egg.

Why?

So you would be able to get an idea just how small the 'smallest morning glory ever' really was. . .

This small:

The Rabbis say that every blade of grass has an angel who tells it to grow.

This morning glory must have had a very, very teeny tiny angel indeed shouting....

"Grow! Grow!"

Wow, that IS tiny! I hope you pluck it and press it. That would be spectacular mounted between two small panes of glass.

It reminds me of a fairy hat. It even glows.

This morning when I looked out the front window at my Snowball bush there were several very small and very out of season snowballs.

The fairies seem to be be up to something special this fall.
