Well, Hen, sometimes there are things far more important that Getting Things Done. Trust me.

Sorry poor Hen... I never consider that a bad thing. The alternative is much worse. :o)

Dear Red,
It is best to get used to these man creatures being under foot. Sooner or later they retire and are home all the time. This will mean drastic changes in daily routine, but at the same time there are some wonderful benefits. For one thing long needed repairs get done, not to mention there will be someone available to mow the lawn. Knowing your proclivity towards order this should appeal to you.
There are however days when they are not feeling well and need to be pampered just a bit. Hot soup (vegetable, of course) and cookies usually work wonders. I suggest liberal doses until he is well.
In the mean time do try to be patient and enjoy the uniqueness of man and enjoy the break from the normal routine. Things will return to their normal hustle and bustle soon enough.

RYC: I think it was supposed to be maple syrup (or maple flavoured syrup, probably - we don't get the real stuff here very often). I had a blocked nose, so all I could identify was that it was sweet :-)

Yes, dear, men ARE a distraction but mayhaps one day you will meet the right rooster and spend a day not getting anything done, then just imagine the fit She Who Must Not Be Named will have!
