Determining the gender of kittens can be difficult. But when you look at his or her "parts" a boy's will look (more or less) like this: (.) and a girl's will look like this: (/).

I just wish kittens would stay small. I adore my cats but when they are small they are so cuddly and easily contained. Yes, they do dumb things, but they are so cute that it makes up for the curtain climbing.

LOL - I'll send Lightning over. He's a pro at laying on the desk just in front of the keyboard and erasing all my emails. Very neat trick that. I'm sure he'll be happy to pass on all his knowledge. ;o)

Sexing kittens can sometimes be extremely difficult. I used to raise and show persian, himi, and exotics. I once had a cream shaded cameo kit born that was extraordinary so I decided to keep it for showing and later breeding. We named him Chester. Seven months later we renamed her Priscilla. I'd been raising and showing cats for YEARS so was more than a little stunned at my mistake and trust me when I say I'd checked more than once the sex because we'd never before produced a male cameo. Live and learn, I guess.

P.S. The vet didn't catch it, either, and she checked, too.
