How's your Chi?
Wed Jan 16 2008

Though the temperatures are cool, the sun shone bright today. It was very pleasant out. Which was nice because my friend D. and I went to a class today in Tai Chi and meditation. We had such a nice time there. The class was 2 hours long and it seemed to go by in a flash.

There will be three more classes every Wednesday for the next three weeks. I'm very happy we finally made it there. We have been talking about it for a long time.

We went to Olive Garden afterwards and had soup and salad. It was great food and it was CHEAP! You could spend that same amount of money at McDonald's these days.
And if you want, they give you more soup even. I had never been to Olive Garden before. I will certainly be going again. I may even have to take Hub Man over there one day soon.

The tornado?

Passed over.

Left my brain, such as it is, intact.

Well, maybe it blew out a few cobwebs. Can't complain about that.

You've never been to Olive Garden until now???? Oh, my. You're in for a pleasant surprise. I love their food. Their salad is literally one of my favorite things on the planet and their breadsticks make me whimper.

As far as the Tai Chi goes, I'd love to do that but haven't found a group close. The nearest one is in Champaign, a 76 mile round trip *sigh*. Maybe some day..........

Glad the brain is intact. Never hurts to blow out a few cobwebs.

    I can't believe you've never been there!
I love their house dressing on the salad.
    To die for. *drools*
You really need to take Hubman there.

I have always wanted to try Tai Chi.
    It looks so calming.
    Have fun.

RYC: Pumpkin butter is Tha Bomb. It's great on bagels and english muffins and toast and waffles and pancakes and in grits and on crackers and on ummmmmmm lots of other stuff, too.

    Must be a midwestern thing....

I'd be happy to send you some;)

I love the all-you-can-eat soup and salad for lunch, particularly the soup that I can never remember the name of. Zupa de something or the other. Yummy, very-very yummy!
    OK, now I'm hungry.
