Cricket With A Side of Chamomile
Tue May 27 2008

Tea anyone?

Chamomile that is...

[album 65561 chamomile 004.jpg]

These are drying in the fruit dryer right now. I may have to harvest those plants many times to get a respectable stash of tea for the winter.

In other news....

Cricket has gone off with her new people. An older couple with a rather sedentary older male dog that Cricket can boss around a little. We shall see how it goes. If it doesn't work out, she can come back here any time.
Just so I can look at this face and give her a skwudge. Two weeks wasn't quite enough time. But then maybe it was good, I didn't have enough to really get too attached this time.

Oy, I must be crazy.

I hope you have a happy life Cricket!

RYC: I'm not a huge fan of heat, either, but I doona like the damp chill because of my thyroid condition. I can't seem to regulate my heater these days.

The temp has dropped consistantly for the last few weeks into the mid 40s at night but it's not been low enough for us to turn the heat back on but I seriously considered doing so today. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Mom nature needs to figure out what she's doing and clue the rest of us in *sigh*

Maybe it's the breed, but that dog looks like she could talk. I mean human talk. Such an expressive face!!

    Bless

I cannot manage chamomile tea - it's too much like drinking perfume. I'll gladly accept some darjeeling, though.
