Pal has a visitor coming on Saturday.

I'll be giving him a bath tomorrow so he looks all pretty. He's laying here by me right now with his belly on the floor and his back legs sticking out straight behind him.

If he does get adopted on Saturday, it will be kind of sad, because he is just now learning to tolerate Fiona. And Fiona has even been putting out feelers to see if Pal might be into a friendly cross species tussle and chase session. I would love to watch that. I really would. But we may not get the chance.

It speaks to his intelligence that he has come so far from such a rough and rowdy beginning with us.

In other news... I joined a yoga group that meets four days a week at the Senior Center. It is Kundalini yoga class. Quite different than what I have practiced in the past.

At first I thought.... hmmmm... this isn't as strenuous as my other yoga classes, but after my second class, my sore muscles are making me re-think that nonsense. In any case, it is good to be going to any kind of yoga class again. I already met a fellow knitter there!

So today I am heading out to my art class at that very same Senior Center.

It's a great place. It is full of people who are still interested in learning new things and staying active. They are a cheerful bunch over there, and I can use all the cheerful I can get right now.

So now that I have stirred up my Prana, I shall go to class and get in touch with my inner child I mean 'Artist'.

I haven't been here in a while, but I think you have a new background. I really like it! And you're making me wish I was a senior 'cause that center sounds great!

Ohhh Yoga, I used to to in my younger days. Now I wish i had kept up with it. I have a rationg of age 69 at Wii fit. That sucks as I'm 58 LOL! I have a goal tho to get it down to younger than i really am..it tells after every session. I love art also and do it when i get the time. Hope Pal finds a wonderful home he deserves it!

It speaks to your gentle and loving touch that he's come so far since the rocky start. You are a dog whisperer ;)

A few weeks ago our neighbor across the street brought his Corgi over. I had to laugh because my cats didn't give the poor dog any quarter. Kaiko stood in the corner shivering while Dusty and Romeo rushed forward to sniff her. They were raised around dogs so they didn't see a problem and couldn't imagine why she would *laffs*. Poor Kaiko!

For somebody who is such a homebody, you sure spend a lot of time away from home. Like that's a bad thing?

I hope Pal gets his own home, but it would be nice if Fiona could train him to accept a cat as a playmate rather than a chasemate.

    Bless

I hope all went well with Pal over the weekend. I'm jealous of your center. ;)

Good for you art and yoga classes! After the holidays, our annual party and other things are over and done with I need to look into the center myself. A good thing for my 2009 list of things to try.
