Which One Are You?
Wed Jan 21 2009

The way I figure it, in America this morning, there are two groups of people.

Those who woke up wondering, "What is Obama going to do for us?"

And the others who are wondering, "What is Obama going to do to us?"

You are right on. I guess we shall see as time passes. I imagine that there is a third group like me who are asking both questions. I think all Americans should ask both. Have a great day, Richard

I'm sure those two questions have been asked of all former Presidents as well.

    I guess we'll see.

I just hope "people" will give him time to do what he said he would. The mess will take more than the First 100 Days to fix. It could even take more than his four years.

    Bless

I know that politically you and I are in different camps but I have to say that your question hit home with me. It did because I've woken up for the last 8 years wondering what Bush was going to do TO us today.

    'Nuff said on that.

RYC: I agree with you on the Pelosi thing. It's time to just let things go and work toward making things better instead of spending taxpayer money on something stupid. Being a resident of a state that is so locked over the problem with the governor and the appointment of a senator, I've felt the same anger at those who've proposed just having a special senatorial election. That might be a great answer in a state that isn't bankrupt but it isn't the answer here, where taxpayers are hemmoraging (sp) money at government expense already. Things can be, and should be, handled differently but, as on a federal level, everyone seems happy to spend and point fingers without actually getting anything done.

Sorry, I think I went off on a bit of a tangent there!

As we have agreed to diagree about our political views, I was one waiting to see what he WILL do and what every citizen in these United Staes witll do for their ocuntry. It was an amzing moment in history in this country. The world is watching and they are once again filled with hope as most of us in this country are once again.
