Thursday Consolation Photos

I and my camera ventured forth on the bicycle again this morning hoping to see the peacock again.

Alas, he was nowhere to be found.

Instead I give you these:

Cattails in the creek.

And something pink for Little Miss Sunshine:

Not quite as impressive as a Peacock, I admit.

Today is a stay home and do little things day. I have a little ironing, a little sewing, a little reading, a little cooking, a little laundry....

(A little redundancy ...)

Well, that settles it. No strawberry smoothie for you.

(No matter. I prefer banana anyway.)

Sigh.

Enjoyed the pic's of the community. That's wild about the peacock! We have never seenone out here. I will be looking for it now. We stopped by the kids house on the wasy home from the grocery store to pick some rdishes and zucchini and we could hear this noise that sounded like a dog whimpering. Turned out to be a aturkey near the solid fence in the back feeling trapped and wanting to fly over the fence but couldn;t or was afraid too. I got some video and pic's of it. I couldn;t convice him to move to his left and go through the wrought iron fence in the back of the yard. This city girl loves this community; so much wild life. BTW - my day is planned pretty much like yours. Sometimes there is a lot to say for normalcy.

I remember coloring cat tails with crayons when I was a kid.

Sure is a pretty view, even without the peacock.

Happy Shavuot. Eat lots of cheesecake and icecream.
